What it is like to work here
Osage Group is a small house. Roles tend to be wide rather than deep; staff are expected to write clearly, to handle their own counsel, and to remain in conversation with multiple sister entities as a matter of course. Decision horizons are long; status churn is low; the work is documentary, archival, financial, and legal in roughly equal measure. Travel between Pawhuska, the international centres, and partner communities is part of every senior role.
Standing programmes
- Tinker Scholarsβ full-tuition awards for qualifying Native American students entering the U.S. service academies, ROTC programmes, or undergraduate programmes in aeronautics, engineering, and applied sciences. Awards announced 7 June each year. Administered by the Osage Foundation.
- Apprenticeshipsβ year-long working apprenticeships across Osage Tech, Osage Capital, and Osage Institute. Open to graduates of Osage Academy and Osage University, and to qualifying partner-family candidates.
- Fellows programmeβ up to twelve Institute Fellows per academic year across the three research streams. Applications open 1 March; close 30 June; cohort begins 1 September.
Open positions
We hire by reference. Open positions are not advertised publicly. Candidates introduced through the standing partner base, the Tinker Scholars alumni cohort, or the Institute Fellows roster are reviewed within thirty days of inquiry.
